“Building Robots, Building People”
Since 2004
Team 1425 is a FIRST Robotics Competition team through which our members can learn how to manage the team and build a robot for competition that meets the annual FRC challenge. However our long term goal and ultimate purpose is to inspire high school students to learn about and join communities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). To achieve this goal, Team 1425 encourages and provides opportunities for students to learn a variety of technical skills, mentor other students in programs such as FTC and FLL, volunteer, and share our enthusiasm for FIRST throughout the Wilsonville and West Linn communities. Students will also learn important teamwork, communication, and other valuable life skills. By building robots, we can build the next generation of STEM innovators.
